Give a $300 tablet for $10.01 & free unlmtd. data for EBB program
This provider gave a $300 unused 2020 Samsung tab a 8.4 inch tablet model sm-t307 for only $10 and one penny for the emergency brought me a benefit program. And they included unlimited data free which was fully paid for by the $50 per month which ebb paid for your data plan. When they learned the ebb would turn into the affordable connectivity program and pay only $30 per month they lowered their data plan from $40 to $30 for the customer to have continued unlimited data.
They give the best lifeline free phones I've seen. J5L dual SIM card capable smartphones by the company BLU. These sell for $75 on Amazon. The second SIM card slot was unlocked when I ordered for a friend I tried my SIM card on his second slot and it worked so it's unlocked. How many providers do that?
Hopefully they will again offer the tablet for the affordable connectivity program.
They also have the best customer service All American easy to understand operators and Chattanooga, Tennessee.
A male the tablets out in 3 days you get them. And they didn't even charge you for shipping.
Relatively few providers offered a tablet for the emergency broadband benefit program. Most like Truconnect or Q Link were very cheap. Stand-up wireless had a good budget tablet but offered very little data.
Boost Mobile and insurance wireless finally offered tablets but way late in the game and they both had funky *** stipulations to get the tablet. Boost required you come into store. While every other provider sent the tablet through the mail. The poorest people missed out on this who needed it the most because they didn't have transportation or live near boost stores. And assurance wireless had funky stipulations. They offered it October 27th and shut it down 6 weeks later even before ebb ended. They said you cannot have used ebb with another company. That means that you had to let the program go five and a half months and pay your own exorbitant bill without taking advantage of an assistance program. And when they would give you this email to order the tablet many people could not even get it. Even people who fit all their ridiculous stipulations.
But if you were lucky enough to get a boost tablet it was an Alcatel Joy tab 2 8 inch 4G LTE connectable tablet. They go for $170 sometimes. Although you can find them in any tablet much lower than the going price. On ebay. Even brand new or open box. And assurance offered a Coolpad Tasker tablet one of the very few 10-in tablets you could find for the EBB program.
Keep your ears peeled for terracom wireless if they offer this tablet again you should go after their affordable connectivity offer. But I'll be surprised because people did not appreciate them and people did not send in thanks to the FCC and the usa. People should have told these government companies that terracom deserved a reward because they were losing money. They were giving a $300 tablet out for a price of $110 in one penny. $10 and one penny from you and $100 from the ebb government copay. And they were giving him unlimited data out the only way they would get their money back is if you remain their customer for a long time and they wrote a letter about this and included it in the tablet. And I figured this out even before they included that letter.
You can find extremely few providers who will offer a tablet that is worth over $100. There are very very few maybe five that I've seen or six that go for $150 or more. And I've seen none that go over $200 except this one by terracom wireless.
SM-T307. Look up it's cost online on Google shopping.
The next most valuable tablets were...
Localtel communications of Wenatchee Washington came out a 10-in Lenovo tablet probably worth $150 or more. Cost $25.
IT&E of Guam & Pacific Islands gave a 2019 Tab A Samsung for $49.99. Was worth $125 to $150?
Kinetic by Windstream gave a $150+ Samsung A7 for $20.
Big bend telephone of Texas gave a Amazon 10 inch fire tablet for $15. Worth $100 to $125?
Team Midwest of the Michigan utilities company MEC gave a 10-in Amazon fire tablet for $49.99. Worth $100 to $125?
Xchange Telecom of New York gave an 8-in 4G LTE connectable ZTE Z Pad for $49.99. Worth $100+?
Standup Wireless offered one of three different decent budget tablets. All are 8 inches. All should be 4G LTE connectable. A NUU Tab 8, or a Vortex 8, or an Elite T8 Octa by Sky Devices. First 2 may have Android 9, 10, or 11. 2 gb ram & 16 to 32 gb rom. Sky T8 tablet was a very good operating system budget tablet: 3 gb ram & 32 gb rom & Android 11. But Stand-up Wireless gave only 10 GB of data for EBB Lifeline, together. You may be able to get the tablet unlocked after 45 days, & transfer your ACP to another provider offering more data.
Selectel Wireless gives a 7 inch Hyundai Hytab Plus 4G connectable. Cost $11. Worth $75 to $125.
Cathect Communications give a Hyundai Hytab. Cost may be free. But providers who give a totally free tablet may require you use your Lifeline voucher with your EBB / ACP voucher to get a tablet.
City Communications gets a 8 in ch NUU Tab 8. 20 gb data.
Excess Telecom gives a tablet, maybe a Hyundai. Data plan maybe 20 GB bus slow down after the first 5. Dailytel Communications offers maybe 20 gb data & a tablet, maybe fully free. A worker said they had their own tablets made in China. Its ok IF they ordered good systems: Android 9 or higher; 2 or more gb ram, 16 or more gb rom, & 4G / LTE connectivity.
QLink wireless had their own "Sceptre," or " Scepter" tablets made but they may have cheap operating systems.
Truconnect offered Sunshine T-1 8 inch tablets by Cloud Mobile. 4G connectivity, but pretty cheap. And only 8 gb data for ebb, which paid $50 assistance, so they maybe give less data for the affordable connectivity program.
Localtel Communications of Wenatchee Washington sold a 10-in Lenovo tablet worth $125 to $150 for $25.
Team Midwest of MEC utilities in Michigan sold a 10-in Amazon fire tablet for $49.99. May have a 50 mbps uncapped data plan for $50.
McMinn telephone of Texas sold a 10-in Amazon tablet for $15.
It&E of Guam used to have 2 8 inch tablets: a 2019 Tab A Samsung tablet, or an 8-in Amazon fire tablet $49.99. 50 gb data only was one of their data plan options at $49.99 fully paid for by the EBB program.
KINETIC BY WINDSTREAM told me they sold a Samsung A7 8.7 inch tablet worth $125 to $150 for $20. I was told by another worker they may have sold Huawei tablets.
Some providers may have run out of a tablet and decided to sell other tablets. Some providers have stopped offering tablets for the affordable connectivity program. Some may resume selling tablets later after a transition period.
BOOST MOBILE & ASSURANCE WIRELESS HEAD GREAT TABLET OFFERS ALTHOUGH NONE CAME CLOSE TO THE TABLET OFFERED BY TERRACOM WIRELESS.
Boost Mobile required you go into a store to purchase a tablet. All other providers will mail them. Assurance wireless had very narrow ridiculous stipulations. Both boost and assurance offer their tablets way late in the game.
Boost Alcatel Joy Tab 2 8 inch 4G worth $150. Price is varied widely depending on who signed you up but it was supposed to be $25 down to $10 & 1 penny.
Assurance wireless offered a 10-in Coolpad Tasker tablet Wi-Fi with a decent operating system worth $130. Cost was $10 and one penny.
You can sign up for a lifeline free monthly phone plan and get a free phone with terracom wireless for 500 minutes of talk unlimited texting in 4.5 GB of data. The phone they give out is the best I've seen for lifeline free. A BLU J5L. Cost $75 on Amazon.
Do you need a thousand minutes sign up with assurance wireless or stand-up wireless.
And you can use your ACP voucher to get a tablet with data on it or you can use your ACP voucher for a second phone bundle.
Or you can use your ACP voucher for a mobile hotspot device.
And for a third program you can sign up with Xfinity Internet essentials for $10 per month. It's worth $50 per month. No cost for motor more installation or the first two months. They also sell you a $150 laptop which may be worth over $350. If Comcast doesn't cover your area several major providers have low income based Wi-Fi plans and you don't even need to use your ACP voucher.
If they require modem rental or a hotspot device, see if you can purchase your own. You'll save much money.
